Paul and Susan McLaughlin, who both labor in the ministry of Hope Haven Gospel Mission in Lewiston, Maine, visited the church to present the ministry and share from God's Word. Paul is executive director of the mission, and Susan runs the "Others" ministry, which is a part of the mission.

Hope Haven is a homeless shelter, soup kitchen, and rehabilitation program on the streets of Lewiston. The "Others" ministry provides non-perishable food items, clothing, toys, etc. to those in need.

Paul taught the morning adult Bible Study class. Later, he presented the ministry of Hope Haven and then preached a message about "The Incomparable Christ".
