We had a wonderful "Spring Campmeeting" at the Church today, with several messages brought by men in the church, plus fellowship over lunch.

Alan talked about "Wisdom" from the first four chapters of Proverbs, making the point that "If I had a room full of silver and gold and told people they could take as much as they wanted, people would rush in to get it. Yet, God offers Wisdom -- something far more valuable according to the Bible -- free for asking and people walk away from it."

Dick shared his own salvation experience at a VBS in Augusta and told us about some of the lessons he has learned as he grew, finishing up with an appeal to go out and win souls.

Pastor Ron spoke of the profound impact our "little" church has had on the community over the last 35 years, with hundreds of people saved; free King James Bibles delivered to every household in Kingfield; hundreds of children impacted for Christ through our ministries in Kingfield and Phillips; tens of thousands of dollars supporting effective, God-fearing missionaries around the world; the Gospel taken to every door in Kingfield 3 times and to many doors in Phillips, Strong, and Salem; and much more. He then made the point that all of that is history and we can't live on past victories. What is really important now is where we go from here as we go into the next 35 years. God is not looking for ability but availability, and if we work for Him He will use that work and multiply it for His Kingdom.

David spoke from Genesis Chapter 1, talking about the creation fo the world by God.

Joe brought a short message from John 3:16, John 3:17, and Romans 3:23.

This year's "campmeeting" was the first we have ever done, but God brought such a profound blessing from the fellowship and preaching that we will, God willing, do it again. Thank you, God!

It was wonderful to hear the men of the church expounding God's Word.
